simple and revolutionary
Lauren Parsons has always had an eye for design. However, early in her career, as a marketing, PR and development executive, her focus was graphic rather than interior design. In addition to her PR and business acumen, Lauren became known for her ability to communicate a brand story across all platforms from identity elements, such as logo design, to signage and web presence.
When she was hired to help with brand strategy at the Star, a luxury-living concept in Downtown Houston, her eye for interior design not only changed the property for the better but also the course of her career.
“To tell the story properly, she ended up going much deeper, albeit step by step—first, revising a model unit for a photoshoot, which impacted leasing enough for The Star’s developer to trust Parsons with a lobby redesign. Then came hallway tweaks, and more model units, and, after Parsons moved into the building herself, plans for the unfinished basement and penthouse-level amenity floors. In the end, the developer tapped Parsons for the interiors, pool, and rooftop terrace,” wrote Abby Ledoux in her piece for Houstonia Magazine. Read the full article here.
Since then, Lauren has worked with corporate clients to unify graphic, web and interior design to form a cohesive brand story. Whether visiting the building or the website, the brand presence is preserved by this integrated approach at every touchpoint.
